Dr. Isaac E. Cervantes Orozco

Orthopedic Surgeon


Specialized in advanced Hip and Knee reconstructive and replacement surgery.

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM ).
Dr. Isaac Cervantes is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a Fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee reconstructive surgery. He has been performing hip and knee replacement surgery for over 10 years, averaging around 200 replacements a year.

Dr. Isaac Cervantes earned his M.D. with honors from the Faculty of Medicine at the Mexican Autonomous National University(U.N.A.M.). After Med school he enrolled for residency training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery at the “ Hospital de Traumatología y Ortopedia Lomas Verdes IMSS”, which is considered the top Trauma Center in all of Latin America. After becoming Chief Medical Resident, he graduated with honours in 2002. He also performed with honours his subspecialty in adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery in the same hospital. He is certified by the Universidad Nacional Autóma de México (UNAM) and by the Mexican College of Orthopaedic Surgeons. (Consejo Mexicano de Ortopedia y Traumatología).

Dr. Cervantes is an active member and lecturer for the Mexican Society of Hip Reconstructive Surgery where he also functions as Secretary for the term 2007-2009, as well as being a member and lecturer of the Mexican Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is trained in cutting-edge orthopaedic techniques involving all aspects of adult reconstructive orhopaedic surgery, and is considered one of the most influential Hip and Knee Replacement surgeons in all of Mexico. He is part of the medical staff at the Hip and Knee Replacement service at the Hospital de Traumatología y Ortopedia Lomas Verdes IMSS and has a thriving private practice in leading private hospitals in Mexico City.

Dr. Isaac Cervantes is also an adjunct professor at the Mexican Autonomous National University (U.N.A.M.) in charge of the Othopaedic program for residents in training. Dr. Isaac Cervantes is committed full time to his patients and his own family. He is married to Dr. Aidee Perez a pediatric ear nose and throat specialist who works at the prestigious National Medical Center. In the little free time that he has left, he likes to read, spend time on the computer and he loves computer gadgets.

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA).
Dr. Stefan Martínez is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a Fellowship in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. He has been performing hip and knee replacement surgeries for over 10 years now, averaging around 200 replacements a year. His practice also encompasses trauma surgery, acetabular and pelvic fracture surgery, sports injuries and arthroscopy.

Dr. Stefan Martínez earned his M.D. with honours from the University of Aguascalientes in 1995. He became board eligible for residency training in internal medicine in the United States but instead he decided to enter orthopaedic residency training in Mexico City at the “Hospital de Traumatología y Ortopedia Lomas Verdes IMSS”, which is considered the top Trauma Center in all of Latin America. After becoming Chief Medical Resident, he graduated with honours in 2001. He also performed with honours his subspecialty in Adult Reconstrucive Surgery in this same hospital. He is certified by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and by the Mexican College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (Consejo Mexicano de Ortopedia y Traumatología).

Dr. Stefan Martínez is a Canadian-born citizen. His early years were spent in Canada as well as his high school years, he travels frequently to Canada to visit family and friends, and in his free time he likes swimming, hiking, golf, skiing and gardening. He is married to Dr. Maria Eugenia del Peral, who became the first female board-certified spine surgeon in Mexico.
